Naturally, you can find OOTU instructions...in OOTU! But we put some here as well.

Creating An Account: At the opening screen, click "Be a USERContributor". Enter the desired information, then sign in! Now you can enter information.

Entering Information: Click on a category, enter a sub-category in the text box, and click "Contribute". It's as simple as that. You can make new entries under any category, even if you didn't create it. But you can only change your own entries and only as long as no one else has added a category under it. To edit, right-click a category and select "Edit Category" (with a Mac, the equivalent of a right click is Ctrl-click). To move a category and all its sub-categories (again, presuming they are all assigned to you and no one has entered new sub-categories in that portion of OOTU), right-click it and select "Move this category". Then right-click a new category and select "Drop under this category". You can also delete categories in this way.

Finding Information: Enter a word or phrase in the text box and click "Search". Any instances of the search term in the database will be found and listed separately.

Navigating OOTU: You can expand the outline upward by right-clicking a category and selecting "Expand Upward" from the context menu. You can expand downward one level by clicking on a "+" sign if there is one, or by right-clicking and selecting "Expand Category".

How Do Results Appear - When you do a search, the most popular hits are shown first. You can choose to see them instead in forward, or reverse, alphabetical order, by User Name of UserContributors, or the most recent additions by clicking the appropriate button on the "Sort By:" line. If you right-click on a User Name, you can select "View contributions by this user" and see all the categories this USERContributor has entered.
